Ms. Anchor HUNG, Executive Member, International Executive Committee, International Bureau for Epilepsy (IBE); Vice President, South East Asia, IBE. She is the Founder Member and Advisor of HK Epilepsy Association (HKEA) and Manager of The HK Society for Rehabilitation Community Rehabilitation Network (CRN).

With her training background in Bachelor Degree in Social Work (HK) and Master Degree in Disabilities Studies (UK) , Anchor has been dedicated to epilepsy services since 1990’s. She is the first social worker in HK to provide a wide range of community programmes for persons with epilepsy. She is also the Founder of only epilepsy self-help organization – HK Epilepsy Association, honoured as ‘The Light of Epilepsy’. Her expertise and commitment has been further recognized with the ‘ Most Remarkable Helping Experience Award’ and ‘Outstanding Social Workers’ Finalists’ organized by HK Social Workers Association and Ming Pao (local mass media) due to her brilliant services on epilepsy in HK.

Anchor has been active in participating in epilepsy related conference and visiting different epilepsy organizations in USA, Canada, Taiwan, UK and other parts of the world to enhance more concern of epilepsy in the last decade. She has also presented a variety of paper on epilepsy in different local and international conference, journals and books. Her current further study in Master of Public Health at the University of HK has further providing her wider horizon in bringing about epilepsy services.
